Where Humans went next:
After looking at where humans began and seeing how they developed on the savannah landscape of Africa I was interested where they went next and the steps they took that led the species to where we are today.
I had always held the belief that humans slowly drifted up to Asia and Europe and from there developed and as they gained more technology then spread out, however there is evidence to suggest that humans and their early ancestors had begun moving throughout the world very early.
This video tells the story of how humans migrated out of Africa and where the went.

Human Life - Beginning
Where did human life begin? The evidence that has been discovered to this date suggest that human life began in Africa. This is supported by the discovery made the Leakeys. It was originally thought that human life evolved in Europe or Asia around 60,000 years ago. In 1972, the oldest remains of the hominine line where found in the Olduvai Gorge. The remains where found by Donald Johanson but the Leakeys; Mary and Louis were credited as they were the ones to begin the expedition in the Olduvai Gorge. The skeleton was nicknamed "Lucy" and is the oldest remains of Australopithecus. There are three main categories of that made up the hominine line these are australopithecus, homo erectus and homo habilis. It is believed that the older human species where apes that moved out of rainforests and flourished and evolved in the savannah.
